Say Hola to Lago: The Mexican Style Lager with That Extra Cha Cha Cha

In Spanish, Lago means Lake, and Cerveza means, well, Cerveza. Simple, refreshing, straightforward. That spirit is at the heart of Lago, our Mexican style lager crafted for anyone who wants a crisp, easy drinking beer with just a touch of craft brewed personality. It is light, refreshing, and smooth, but it also brings a little extra cha cha cha that keeps things interesting from the first sip to the last.

Lago was inspired by those perfect days spent perched at a pool bar where the air is warm, the sunscreen smells like vacation, and the bartender keeps sliding over buckets filled with bottles buried in ice. There is a relaxed feeling in moments like that. You hear distant waves, feel a little breeze off the water, and decide whether you want another cold one. Spoiler alert! You absolutely do.

We wanted to capture that feeling inside every can. The lightness. The ease. The slow, sun soaked joy that comes with a day that has no real agenda. Lago was created to deliver that crisp, clean, all day drinkable refreshment.

Although Lago takes inspiration from the classic Mexican lagers you already love, it still carries the heart of a craft beer. It is brewed with care, quality ingredients, and an intention to make something familiar yet elevated. Think of it as your laid back vacation beer, but with the flavour quietly turned up.

BEER STYLE: Mexican Style Lager; COLOUR: Pale straw/pale gold, brilliantly clear; AROMA: Mild grain with a hint of lime hops; HEAD: White colour, medium-mild retention; HOPS: Magnum, New Zealand Motueka; MOUTHFEEL: Thin / light body, medium & lively carbonation, somewhat dry with balanced bitterness & a very crisp finish; TASTE: Slight malt and corn sweetness, subtle touch of new world hop character, overall very clean; VITAL STATS; ABV: 4% – IBU: 14 – SRM: 3

Lago was made for good company. Whether you are sharing it with the señoritas, the bro chachos, the cousins who showed up early, or the neighbour who always crashes the party, Lago fits the moment perfectly.

Technically, you can drink Lago indoors. But this beer is happiest in the sun. Enjoy it at the beach, by the pool, on the patio, around a fire pit, or anywhere you can smell salt, sunscreen, or sizzling food. Add a squeeze of lime if you want to get fancy. Add a sombrero if you want to get bold.

Lago. Best served with sun, tortillas, and anyone who makes you laugh louder than expected.
