Wondering what the Brew Crew’s sipping on these days? It’s a question we take very seriously around here… so naturally, we plucked a few from their busy days and we asked. Whether you went all-in on Dry January, took a little break, or never left your favourite taproom stool at all, our Brew Crew’s current picks are here to help you plan your next drink with us.
BEER WITH NO NAME RASPBERRY GINGER WHEAT ALE

Kerstin’s go-to every single time? Beer With No Name Raspberry Ginger Wheat Ale. The raspberry & ginger combo just hits right.
She recommends it to pretty much everyone who walks through the doors because, in her words, “it doesn’t even taste like regular beer.” Fruity, smooth, and all-around good-vibes in a glass!
LAGO MEXICAN LAGER

Currently on Jackson’s roster: Lago Mexican Lager. His reasoning? “I’m thirsty.” Fair.
It’s light, refreshing, and ultra-crushable (as you can tell from his photo). The kind of beer that goes down easy on a sunny day. With subtle limey hop notes balanced by malt and corn sweetness, it’s one he recommends to just about anyone. Brewer-approved.
NAUTICAL DISASTER DOUBLE IPA

Hey, it’s me! Yes, I included myself. Partially because I was really craving a Nautical Disaster Double IPA, and partially because I will never turn down a good IPA.
If you’re already an IPA fan or looking to dip into hoppier waters, this one’s a solid choice. Bold bitterness, citrusy punch, and big flavour without being overwhelming, a craft-beer classic for a reason!
LAKESIDE KOLSCH

Roger’s pick right now is Lakeside Kolsch. Light, crisp, refreshing, the definition of an easy-drinker.
It’s his first recommendation to newcomers at the bar because it’s a certified crowd-pleaser. Once he learns what you like, he’ll steer you from there… but this is usually where the journey begins.
BLUEBERRY ICED TEA

Lauren’s not big on beer, but she definitely knows a good cocktail when she sees it. Her current fave? The Blueberry Iced Tea.
Refreshing, fruity, and not overly boozy, it’s perfect for patio sippin’, post-work pick-me-ups, and those “I want something fun but not too heavy” moments.
THORNBURY BLOOD ORANGE CIDER

Jocelyn’s pick comes from one of our guest taps: Thornbury’s Blood Orange Cider. She loves it because it’s light, fruity, and has that perfect little sparkle of carbonation.
It’s her recommendation for anyone wanting something refreshing without going full beer mode. An all-season sipper! Best enjoyed in the summer sunshine, but just as good in the winter when you need a little reminder that patio days always come back around!
