Giving back to our community and region is at the heart of what we do, and our Charity Pints Program was created to make a meaningful impact across Kenora, the Lake of the Woods region, Thunder Bay, and Manitoba.
Each month of 2026, we will have a new beer highlighted as our Charity Pint of the month available both in our Kenora and Winnipeg taprooms!
January: The Beer with No Name
February: True North Lager
March: Sneaky Peach
April: Session IPA
May: Klippy’s White IPA
Below are details about each of the 3 charities we have chosen to support this year!
It’s a Dog’s Life Kenora
Its A Dog’s Life was founded in February 2008 by a group of dedicated dog-lovers. They are an all-breed, foster-based rescue in Kenora Ontario who have dedicated themselves to helping abandoned, abused and surrendered dogs find well suited forever homes.
Their mission is to be a transparent accountable and professionally run non-profit organization dedicated to rescuing dogs at risk in the District of Kenora. They have a great team of committed volunteers and foster homes to help them achieve their goals. All of their rescue dogs are provided with temporary foster home care until they find them well-matched and carefully screened forever homes.
Along with rescue, they aim to educate by bringing awareness to responsible pet ownership and the importance of spay/neutering. They work with the many First Nation Communities around Kenora to provide food, dog food and spay/neuter for owned dogs.

Winnipeg Humane Society
For more than 131 years, the Winnipeg Humane Society (WHS) has been protecting animals from suffering and promoting their welfare and dignity. This makes the WHS the oldest animal shelter and welfare organization in Manitoba.
Each year, the WHS supports more than 10,000 animals in the shelter and community. It is through the generous support of donors these animals are given food, shelter, medical care, love, and most importantly, a second chance.
Along with finding animals forever families, the WHS offers community support programs and services that help KEEP animals where they belong – in their loving homes. The WHS Pet Food Bank, free behaviour helpline, low-cost veterinary services, and emergency boarding programs aim to ensure the bond between people and their pets remains.
