Good beer tastes even better when it’s doing good things.
We’ve teamed up with the Rotary Club of Kenora to create Beer For A Cause – a special 946ml Lagered Ale where $4 from every single crowler can sold goes towards supporting meaningful Rotary projects right here in our community. That means when you crack one open, you’re not just enjoying a crisp, easy-drinking lager, you’re helping fund what’s next for Kenora. Simple. Local. Impactful.
WHAT’S A CROWLER? Let us introduce you. A Crowler is a giant 32oz (946ml) can filled fresh with beer straight from the tap. Cans are better for the environment and better for beer, letting us serve you our fresh seasonal favourites in a more planet-friendly way. And in this case? It’s also a can that gives back. Every Beer For A Cause crowler helps support Rotary projects right here in our community.
What These Funds Support: Coney Island Accessible Park
Beer For A Cause cans will be helping support the Rotary Club of Kenora build an accessible park on Coney Island. Just minutes from downtown Kenora, Coney Island is a beloved Lake of the Woods hangout spot. This project would ensure it becomes a spot where people of all ages and abilities can gather and enjoy the outdoors, and beautiful lake of the woods together.
With every can sold, you’re helping build a space that truly welcomes everyone.
Rotary Projects
The Rotary Club of Kenora’s impact in Kenora goes far beyond one project. Over the years, they have helped us bring some truly meaningful community spaces to life, that you have definitely seen around these parts.
ROTARY PEACE PARK
The Rotary Peace Park is a place for quiet reflection and community gatherings, created in partnership with the City of Kenora and the Missing and Murdered Indigenous Women, Girls, Trans & Two-Spirit+ Memorial Committee of Ontario. Located along the shores of Lake of the Woods on First Avenue South, the park includes a granite MMIWG2S+ memorial monument, a six-sided granite peace pole engraved with “May Peace Prevail on Earth” in six languages and walkways, seating areas, picnic tables, flowering shrubs, and a boardwalk
The project represents a $365,000 investment raised through donations, grants, and fundraisers, and stands as a powerful step toward Truth and Reconciliation in our community.

KENORA ROTARY SPLASH PARK
Built in partnership with the City of Kenora and several community organizations, the Kenora Rotary Splash Park is a fully inclusive, accessible play space designed for children of all abilities. It’s a place built for laughter, movement, and summer memories – and a perfect example of Rotary’s commitment to creating spaces where everyone belongs.

GOODWILL GEYSER
If you’ve walked or drove the harbourfront in the summer, you’ve seen it. The Goodwill Geyser, located on Safety Bay, shoots water up to 75 metres high and has become a landmark of Kenora’s waterfront. Gifted by the Rotary Club of Kenora, it symbolizes the region’s clean water and community pride.
